What does Home mean to you?

“I think as many diaspora and mixed race people, it’s a difficult question, and understanding home and identity is a constant journey for me.

I think home is synonymous with the feeling part of something and a sense of belonging. There’s something that I found difficult. Being caught between two worlds.”

What does Home mean to you?

“Home for me is where my family is. Home is where I feel relaxed, where I feel comfortable.

To be honest, I haven’t really felt home in London or in the UK for a long time, but I feel at home when I’m with family or I’m with my people, more so with family. And yeah, and this home is where you feel relaxed, when you feel safe.”
